The Short Drawer Theory

Dad in Ascot (2)

Thomas G. Rohner

(1933 -2005)

Short Drawer Theory — When a drawer is wide but short, it always gets stuck.  Problems in life are the same way.  When you see the width of the problem, but not the depth, you’re bound to get stuck.

Thomas Rohner was an inventor, electrical engineer, attorney and a philospher.  He was a brilliant man who dissected the world around him and required that it bend to his will.  He was direct, almost painfully so, but always fair.  He held everyone up to the same high standards that he lived by with no patience for those who would not give everything their very best.
